Rule 28
Officer receiving technical consultation or other service
(1) According to this rule, the authority to approve the financial or technical proposal shall be given to the following officer:-
(a) In the case of Metropolitan Corporation,-
(1) up to ten lakhs of rupees by the Secretary,
(2) up to twenty-five lakhs of rupees by the chief,
(3) More than twenty five lakh rupees by the Metropolitan Corporation.
(b) In case of sub-metropolitan city,-
(1) up to five lakh rupees by the Secretary,
(2) up to ten lakhs of rupees” by the Chief,
(3) Sub-metropolitan corporation exceeding ten lakh rupees.
(c) in the case of a municipality,-
(1) up to two lakh fifty thousand rupees by the Secretary,
(2) up to five lakh rupees by the chief,
(3) More than five lakh rupees by the municipality.
